When Jyotish Gemstones Speak to Me

One of the most interesting skills I have developed over the past 10 years as an astrological gemstone advisor is the ability to sense which gemstones will be the most suitable for which people.

I have no doubt at this point in my career that powerful Jyotish gemstones possess a unique form of consciousness, personality even, with distinct preferences as to who their future owners will be. It is as though they know how to volunteer themselves, often very loudly, based on which will be the most compatible with our prospective clients. I do my best to keep my rational mind out of the matter when this happens, relying on a subtle sixth sense to convey interpretations for me. The less I think about it, the more clear the messages become.

My confidence in my ability to “listen” to our gemstones has been reinforced by the feedback that we get from customers trying out multiple stones over a period of several days. Testers frequently come to the same conclusions that I do, resonating most with the gem that seemed to volunteer the loudest to meet them in the first place. It always brings me great joy to participate in the creation of a mutually happy pairing, especially when followed with updates and success stories from the wearer down the road.

Other times, it appears as though a gemstone would prefer to have a different owner, and it will let me know this as well. The stone has a unique way of making itself silent, dimmer than other choices, so that it increases its chances of being overlooked. I pass over these quiet stones with as much respect as I use to select their louder and brighter counterparts.

I have also noted, on multiple occasions, that our “silent” gems are often purchased shortly thereafter by another customer who is ultimately a better match for them. I now assume that they go silent because they’re patiently waiting for their preferred owners to come along.

I know how eccentric this may sound, and won’t pretend to have all the answers as to how or why this works. Instead, I’ll share some very recent stories with you, and you may take or leave them as you so desire.

When Jyotish Gemstones Speak Up

I took a look at a client’s chart a couple of weeks ago to make an assessment of the best gemstones for her to wear. I determined that a yellow sapphire, to strengthen Jupiter, would be an excellent choice to support her current personal ambitions. As I began to email her a proper Jyotish gemstone recommendation, I got a bright and vivid flash in my mind of a 7ct square-shaped yellow sapphire that we had in stock. It was apparent to me from this flash that the stone wanted to meet our customer and I made a mental note of it, also casually mentioning it to the owner of our company the following day.

We shipped this customer our 7ct gem as well as three other powerful yellow sapphires to test out later in the week. She was hesitant about wearing a square shaped stone in a ring, so we also sent her some choices that she preferred visually. A few days later she emailed to check in and said that the only stone that she felt an attraction to, despite previous expectations and preferences, was our 7ct square-shaped yellow sapphire. “The other sapphires just had no interest for me,” she wrote, “which I was surprised by.”

My experience is that the right gem, matched to the right person, really does have a way of making itself known. I’m pleased to say that this 7ct square-shaped sapphire is now the proud gemstone of its rightfully chosen owner, and I’m quite confident that the two will have a bright and successful future together.

Just last week, we had a local customer interested in two white sapphires, an oval and a round cut stone. I felt like the round cut was the best match for him, and said so, but the oval cut stone was technically more powerful due to its exceptionally flawless degree of clarity. He liked the idea of the flawless oval, but felt some inner hesitation about it, so he decided to test out both gemstones at home for a while.

While he had the stones, another customer called who was interested in testing out that same powerful oval. I felt like this new pairing was a better match energetically, but our other customer had both gems tied up and he couldn’t make up his mind about which one he wanted to purchase.

This local customer decided to ask an accurate and intuitive healer to help him select the right stone. The intuitive said that both gems were great (which they are), but the round one resonated the best: his interpretation was that the round stone had a “slightly higher, more distinct, more evolved” energy than the oval, despite not being the more technically powerful choice. My feeling is that the round stone was not only the better one for this customer and his purposes, but I suspect that the stone also made itself the most bright and prominent option to the intuitive who was looking into the matter. The round cut gem was eventually purchased with plenty of peace of mind about the decision.

The oval cut white sapphire was returned to us, and made its way to this new customer for testing. He called this morning to say that he is keeping the oval gem, confident that it will bring him good results. I was really delighted to hear this, and my sense is that the white sapphire is happy to have been chosen by its new owner as well. I look forward to updates from these two in the future.

When Jyotish Gemstones Go Silent

The 3ct Vedic emerald in this story

On the other end of the spectrum, also late last week, we had a wonderful long-term client of ours ask to test out the strongest and most powerful emerald in our collection. I would not personally have recommended an emerald as her primary stone, but did understand the logic of why her Vedic Astrologer suggested that she strengthen Mercury in her Jyotish chart.

I reviewed the anticipated results of the emerald with her from a technical standpoint. Our customer had a very important business trip coming up and wanted to bring this gemstone with her. I am quite fond of this client, she is kind and perceptive and having great results with the other stones she has purchased from us. All of my feelings and intentions were in supporting her highest success on this trip. This emerald is very strong, powerful, and benevolent. I wished the best for her with this match.

What followed next was, to our surprise, a very strong apparent resistance from this emerald to join our friend on her journey. We had more issues than I’ve ever encountered in authorizing her credit card – it was declined no matter what we tried, even with both of us on a conference call to the head account supervisor of her credit card company. There was no reason for the transaction not to work. It took over an hour for us to clear the funds, with no technical explanation from anyone as to why the authorization wouldn’t go through. My colleagues both made note of this resistance once I was off the phone, as we could all feel something unusual in the air. Really powerful stones usually communicate the loudest.

Once the funds were cleared, the stone was shipped to our customer and delivered the following morning. When tracking the shipment, it appeared to have arrived – but our client never actually received the package. It was signed for, but not by her. The recorded signature was illegible, we couldn’t figure out who had written it. The box was nowhere to be found. Something was wrong.

Our client, with us on the phone, looked everywhere around her apartment’s front office and also around the nearby mailboxes. The lady working at the front office said that FedEx hadn’t even come by that morning. No one on the premises had a clue about the shipment or its whereabouts.

Our client left for her business trip that afternoon, worried and empty handed. I didn’t sleep very well that night, as this is an extremely rare and valuable gemstone.

I spent the following day on the phone with FedEx coordinating an internal investigation of the missing shipment, prepared to get higher authorities involved if needed. It was then that the emerald was found.

As a matter of fact, it was perfectly safe, tucked inside a secure lockbox system right there in the apartment’s front office. It had been hidden from us in plain sight the whole time. We never found out who signed for the package and put it there, despite talking to everyone who was working that day. The lockbox has an automated tenant notification system that mysteriously never emailed our customer, even though we later got evidence that the shipment had been properly entered into this system as soon as it had arrived.

Everything that had occurred up to this point was with great resistance and without any logical explanation. These are the kinds of unusual events that I make note of when a customer is testing out a powerful stone. I take it as an indicator that a different stone will be more compatible with the tester, and that the gem in question has another future home in mind for itself.

Our client’s trip went great, by the way, wearing the auspicious gemstones that she already owns. She flew home from her meeting that weekend, retrieved the emerald from the lockbox, and spent some quiet time with the gem once she was settled in. I looked forward to hearing her impressions of the emerald under more stress-free conditions.

She sent me an update today: though she found the gem to be immensely beautiful, it is the first astrological gemstone that she has felt nothing from energetically. She admired it, but did not feel even the tiniest bit of connection to it. (This is an undeniably powerful stone, nothing short of moving to everyone else who has seen it in person.) Even after recovering from its rocky arrival, it remained completely silent in her presence. She has decided to return the stone to us.

Interestingly, we also got a call last weekend from a gentleman who is extremely excited to have his wife to test out this very same emerald. They are now on standby to see it as soon as it is available.

This story is to be continued.
