Wear The Right Gemstones for the Best Results

For a gem to be effective for Jyotish, it must be untreated and as close to flawless as possible. Significant inclusions or treatments will prohibit it from working properly. Stones that are of optimal clarity, vivid color, and free of treatments are exceptionally rare and very powerful when properly faceted and worn on the body.

It’s ideal to wear a gemstone that vibrates to the same frequency as the most auspicious planets in your birth chart – often (but not always) the rulers of your 1st, 5th, and 9th houses. Strengthening auspicious planets with gemstones translates into receiving the best possible results for Jyotish, neutralizing old negative karma and redirecting conscious tendencies and behaviors for the better.

Contrary to some astrologers’ beliefs, a gemstone for a malefic planet does not appease its negative influence, it only strengthens it. This creates imbalances in the wearer’s energy field promoting discordant, stressful, and challenging karma moving forward.
